How can we avoid paying sales tax?
The goal is not to avoid sales tax. We are not suggesting that anyone break the law. However, we can deal with perceptions, marketing ideas and the plain good feeling of thinking we got away with something.
OK, what do we mean? Well, essentially we are building a large network of retailers and consumers, the shoppers. It is our job to produce a win-win scenario. We want the shoppers to get something out of this, as well as the retailers. Both sides work together, and both sides will benefit.
This symbiotic relationship is also good for the tax man, since one of the hopes is that business will improve where the network takes hold. The economy will benefit providing the network is big enough. It is always good for local government to gain as it eventually comes back to consumers in one form or another.
Our launch is starting where we operate from, namely the Niagara Region. Once our membership is well underway we will move into small towns and cities throughout Ontario and on to the rest of Canada. the concept works better in smaller communities where there are fewer big box stores, and less competition.
If you come into our network of shoppers and retailers you will soon either a) get better deals where you shop, or, b) find that your store has gained more customers. What could be better?
